Background

Why Law

After two decades in software engineering and product management, I realized it was time for a change. I wanted the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in life and take on new intellectual challenges. I believed that a career in law could provide that opportunity.

What I Bring

I've managed multi-million dollar budgets, led cross-functional teams through complex projects, and presented to rooms of 100+ stakeholders. That experience translates directly to legal practice — analysis, persuasion, and clear communication under pressure.

Professional Experience

Software Engineering

12+ Years in Software Development

UPS · Global Payments · The Software Guild · Mayvue Solutions

Spent over a decade building complex software systems — payment platforms, client-facing service portals, and enterprise tools serving thousands of corporate clients. That work required breaking down ambiguous problems into structured solutions, managing competing requirements from multiple stakeholders, and catching errors that could cascade across entire systems. The same attention to detail that goes into debugging production code applies directly to contract review, statutory analysis, and building a legal argument.
